Decay, disintegration, ephemerality, time, chance, destruction as well as the search for new forms and the disappearance of old forms are the concepts Vendula Kvíz Radostová explores in her video entitled Entropy. The trilogy is a reflection on the legacy of the legendary porcelain manufactory Royal Dux Bohemia, which has been producing renowned porcelain figurines since 1853, which have won the company several world awards and they continue to be one of the most sought-after collector items at auctions to this day. The video shows the disintegration of unfired porcelain figurines in an aquarium filled with water, where everything happens in real time without any fast-forwarding.
