Live Longer; or, Never Lose Your Favorite Pieces Even Though You’ve Dropped Them! That is the motto of the studio and workshop which specializes in working with glass, porcelain and ceramics. They use the methods of tinkering, weaving, metal montage, as well as silver, gold and noble metals which allow for achieving the best surface finish. The studio also repairs by means of the Japanese kintsugi method, which is the case of this particular collection. Kintsugi gives the items their original function,
as well as adding value to their individuality – both literal and artistic.

Since 2019, the Live Longer studio has comprised illustrator and ceramicist Silvie Luběnová ( 1977) and designer and jeweler Adéla Fejtková ( 1986). The combination of their expert fields (trained in ceramics, porcelain and illustration, K.O.V. studio at the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague) helps them create works using found, second-hand and unwanted porcelain which they decorate. They make unique single pieces as well as limited tableware editions and collections. Silvie most often works by means of the kintsugi method, while Adéla mostly repairs pieces by montage and plating.
